The amplifier supports three-source, three-zones. You can drive three different zones with three different sources simultaneously, or all with the same source. Use the amplifier's internal amplification configurable in the setup, or use zone two and zone three pre-outs to connect with external amplifiers. Pre-Amplifier Mode provides a cleaner signal path and more tolerance in clipping level by disconnecting internal amplifiers. Add the flexibility to disconnect select speaker channels so that you can use the AV amplifier's built-in amplification to drive non-critical channels to get a clearer signal path for the channels driven by external amplification.
